About the client
A well-established consulting firm with a strong UK presence and a growing digital and data practice. The work spans blue-chip private sector clients and central government, with consistent demand for senior architecture leadership on D365 and Low-Code transformation programmes.
What you will be doing as a D365 Solution Architect
- Leading solution design and architecture for D365 and Power Platform engagements, ensuring solutions meet business, functional and technical requirements
- Owning core architecture artefacts: Key Design Decisions, Technical Options Papers, High and Low Level Designs, Reference Architectures and Roadmaps
- Partnering with engineering teams as the lead SME, defining vision and unblocking delivery as issues arise
- Supporting senior client stakeholders to shape the case for change, leading cost estimation and benefits planning
- Operating across Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum and Kanban delivery models within client governance frameworks
- Influencing senior decision-makers and building credibility through hands-on technical depth
What we are looking for from the D365 Solution Architect
- Proven Solution Architect experience on D365 and the wider Microsoft cloud stack, underpinned by a hands-on engineering or Dynamics 365 implementation background
- Architecture skills across Business, Data, Application, Technology and Security with deep specialism in at least one
- Practical application of TOGAF and SAFe in complex, regulated environments
- Comfort using architecture modelling tools such as UML and ArchiMate to communicate ideas
- Track record leading engineering teams to deliver across D365, Power Apps and Azure
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills at senior client level
Why join
- A real technical career path. Progress as a senior architect without being pushed into a sales or partner route
- High-impact, varied engagements across multiple sectors. No two projects the same
- Strong investment in learning, training and industry certifications
- Mature engineering culture with peer support, mentoring and collaborative working
