About the Role

Entasis Partners is supporting a leading consultancy to secure an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive technology and platform strategy, legacy system modernisation, and M&A integration initiatives.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll partner with senior stakeholders to define technology roadmaps, rationalise complex IT landscapes, and deliver transformational outcomes across large-scale programmes.

Key Responsibilities of the Lead Enterprise Architect

  • Develop and implement technology and platform strategies to support business transformation objectives.
  • Lead legacy system modernisation, including cloud migration, platform consolidation, and process optimisation.
  • Drive M&A integration initiatives, aligning systems, data, and processes across organisations.
  • Advise on enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready IT landscapes.
  • Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering knowledge sharing and architecture excellence.
  • Translate complex technical challenges into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For from the Lead Enterprise Architect

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect focused on technology and platform strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with legacy system modernisation, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and IT transformation programmes.
  • Experience leading or supporting M&A integration projects, including system consolidation and rationalisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of working with senior executives.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, complex environments, delivering tangible business and IT outcomes.
