We are looking for an Enterprise Architect, with experience in financial services who will play a critical role in shaping technology strategies that deliver measurable outcomes for our clients.
Your Role:
- Shape Enterprise Strategy: Develop technology strategies that align with business goals, bridging the gap between IT and operations. Establish clear principles, guidelines, and frameworks to maintain consistency and scalability across systems. Lead the creation of robust, secure, and future-proof solutions tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate and Influence: Work closely with business leaders to understand challenges and identify technology solutions. Act as the key connection between business and technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment. Provide advice to project teams, guiding them to adhere to architectural best practices.
- Drive Innovation: Create and manage forward-looking technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities. Evaluate emerging trends and recommend innovative solutions to deliver value. Design solution architectures that balance business needs with long-term scalability.
- Govern and Protect: Implement governance processes to uphold compliance with policies and regulations. Regularly assess systems to ensure adherence to architectural standards and optimise performance. Partner with security teams to embed robust protections within architectural solutions.
- Optimise Data and Integration: Design data architectures that empower analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making. Ensure seamless integration across systems, enhancing data accessibility and reliability. Define and maintain data governance standards to uphold quality and compliance.
- Lead with Clarity: Document and communicate architectural designs, standards, and models clearly. Share updates, risks, and recommendations with senior stakeholders. Support IT teams in adhering to architectural principles through guidance and training.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience & Expertise: 8+ years in IT, including 3-5 years in senior architectural roles. Experience in Financial Services. Familiarity with enterprise frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman. Proven ability to design and implement enterprise architectures in dynamic environments. Experience across key domains: business, applications, data, and technology. Proven ability to support and develop junior architects, encouraging a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the team. Must have: 2.1 Degree.
