We are seeking a strong, pragmatic Senior Enterprise Architect with a deep infrastructure and cloud background to provide enterprise-wide architectural oversight and leadership. The Senior Enterprise Architect will drive rigor, governance, and strategic direction across infrastructure, cloud, and platform architecture, supporting major transformation initiatives as the organisation moves from regulatory stabilisation into growth and strategic change. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role.
The Senior Enterprise Architect is the senior authority for infrastructure and cloud architecture, responsible for shaping and governing enterprise architecture while leading and influencing internal and SI-based architects.
Key Responsibilities- Enterprise Architecture Leadership
- Provide overall architectural oversight across infrastructure, cloud, and platform domains
- Drive architectural rigor, standards, and governance across the enterprise
- Chair or contribute to architecture governance forums and design authorities
- Ensure architecture decisions are pragmatic, proportionate, and aligned to business scale and funding realities
- Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture
- Lead and govern large-scale infrastructure initiatives including:
- Data centre rationalisation and migration
- Cloud migration and hybrid architecture
- Platform modernisation
- Own and evolve the target-state infrastructure and cloud architecture
- Provide architectural direction across Azure (primary strategic direction) and AWS environments
- Transformation Programmes
- Act as lead Senior Enterprise Architect across key programmes including:
- Contact centre transformation
- Core platform and hosting transformation
- Data centre consolidation
- Support roadmap definition for future-state banking capabilities, including:
- Single Customer View
- Reporting and data environments
- Direct customer-facing capabilities
- Strategy & Roadmapping
- Translate business strategy into executable technology and architecture roadmaps
