Job Description

As a Senior Analyst, you’ll deliver insights, analysis, dashboards, and presentations to the Compliance team and stakeholders. Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you will be part of the Safer Gambling Analytics team, focusing on our ARC (Advanced Responsibility and Care) program, applying advanced analytical techniques to protect online gaming players. You will analyze and model customer behavior to enhance product safety and enjoyment.

The role involves daily coordination with other teams to assess Safer Gambling features' efficiency and guide future steps. You should understand database structures and enjoy a hands-on approach, conducting detailed analysis and customer data modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with Compliance stakeholders to understand challenges.
  • Provide ad-hoc or regular reports to support operations.
  • Collaborate with business teams to develop analytical tools and applications.
  • Identify business opportunities and problems through analytical thinking.
  • Own analysis and reporting on Safer Gambling journeys and features.
  • Present insights to senior stakeholders to influence strategy.
  • Apply predictive and unsupervised models developed by the BI team.
  • Demonstrate the value of analytics in decision-making and impact on revenue/customer behavior.
  • Educate users and leaders on performance measurement.
  • Lead analytical projects to delivery and organizational embedding.
  • Promote communication and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, Pivot tables)
  • Proficiency in SQL; preferably PySpark and Python
  • Experience analyzing large, varied datasets
  • Strong statistical knowledge
  • Ability to apply descriptive analytics and statistical techniques
  • Strong presentation skills for senior stakeholders

  • Experience with predictive analytics and forecasting techniques
