The Technology Category Manager is responsible for managing key technology spend categories across infrastructure, cloud, data, martech, or customer technology platforms. The role owns sourcing execution, supports category strategy, manages supplier relationships, and delivers measurable commercial, operational, and risk-reduction outcomes for Entain.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of category strategies aligned to Entain's Technology, Data, Security and Product roadmaps.
- Deliver competitive sourcing events, tenders, commercial evaluations, contract negotiations, and renewals.
- Analyse market, supplier and spend data to produce actionable insights and recommendations.
- Execute full lifecycle procurement: requirements sourcing negotiation contracting onboarding performance management.
- Lead supplier QBRs, risk reviews, and cost-out initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
- Partner with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Legal, Data Privacy, Cyber Governance, Finance, and PMO.
- Ensure compliance with legal, DP, cyber, and onboarding processes.
- Support technology transformation programmes and associated commercial workstreams.
- Develop business cases, commercial models, and scenario analyses.
- Ensure adherence to Procurement policies, Delegations of Authority, and contract standards.
- Track and deliver savings, value metrics, and risk mitigations.
