Job Description

Are you passionate about sports or delivering excellent customer service? Do you enjoy building positive relationships? As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you\’ll be a vital part of the Entain family, ensuring top customer service and maintaining high standards daily. Working in our dynamic Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops, no two days are the same. You\’ll contribute to a team that wins together and prioritizes our customers\’ needs.

Reporting to the Shop Manager, you\’ll be part of the shop team, serving customers and fostering rapport to encourage repeat business. Are you ready to start a rewarding career?

What you will do

  1. Deliver outstanding customer service.
  2. Promote safer gambling practices.
  3. Take bets on various sports and events.
  4. Process customer transactions, including cash handling.
  5. Demonstrate our products and betting terminals to customers.
  6. Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills.
  7. Work towards set targets and goals.
  8. Maintain high shop standards.
  9. Open or close the shop as needed.

Working patterns

Our shops operate from Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 10 pm, depending on the location, including weekends and bank holidays. Your weekly rota will typically be 20 hours, consisting of a mix of long opening shifts, long closing shifts, and shorter evening shifts, which vary weekly. As a key holder, you\’ll be responsible for opening and closing the shop. We believe in supporting work-life balance by providing your rota at least four weeks in advance.

Qualifications

  • You must be 18 or older to work in our betting shops.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly.
