As a hands-on and successful Account Manager, you are responsible for managing a group of customers throughout Northern UK. You are aware of the developments in the solar market and the needs and wishes of our partners (installers and distributors). Building a good relationship with our customers and discussing long-term partnerships is an important task of your job. You are keen to open the UK market even more by facilitating customers in their needs. You actively promote Enstall products and services to our customers to achieve the goals that we have set for ourselves in the UK. It is a challenging position for 40 hours a week (full-time) and you will be working from your home office, which should be based in Northern UK. You are expected to provide assistance and product information to our customers. This means your days are filled with visiting them, and often we can find you on the roof together with our customer giving them excellent support.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for proactively visiting and connecting with our customers;
  • You can build a strong and exclusive relationship with our customers;
  • You can set up a strong network where Enstall is “top of mind”;
  • You are the main point of contact for all customer matters, and you will anticipate our customer needs;
  • You ensure that deadlines are met for your customer, and you will help them to be successful;
  • You generate sales at the customer through up-and cross-selling and develop (new) relationships with the key accounts;
  • You continuously update customers on product changes and modifications, services, and pricing;
  • You assure the company’s best-in-class service level and shortest response time through efficient communication between the customer and the company.

You will be part of our UK team, which consists of an Account Manager (Southern UK), a Senior Sales Manager, and a Technical Advisory Engineer. We are looking for an Account Manager to work with customers predominantly based in the North of England. However, visits to support customers anywhere in the UK or Ireland will sometimes be needed. You will report to the UK Senior Sales Manager.

Your profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position within the Solar Energy industry;
  • Must be based in the North of the UK;
  • You have a proven track record of commercial results;
  • You can build business cases and set up sales plans;
  • You speak and write English at a native level, and you are an easy and effective communicator;
  • You have a strong customer focus;
  • Intensive travelling is required, and you have a driver’s license and a vehicle;
  • Bachelor level (Commercial/Economics) is required.

  • You are prepared to visit our HQ in Deventer at least once every 3-6 months.
