Overview
Looking to start a challenging and rewarding career in accountancy at one of the regionβs most prestigious and highly regarded practices? We are now accepting applications for our AAT and ICAEW/ACCA trainee programmes which commence in September 2026. By joining us as a Trainee Accountant you will be able to study for professional qualifications whilst also gaining vital hands-on, task-focussed work experience in our busy, growing, multi-disciplinary practice.
As an AAT trainee you will follow formal training through an apprenticeship framework for the AAT qualification. We would expect applicants to be non-graduates and require you to have (or be predicted to achieve) either: a minimum of 2 A levels at Grade C or above (including Maths) OR the equivalent standard in vocational qualifications. If the qualification type varies from this, the application will be assessed on an individual basis. If you do not hold a Maths A level, then we expect a minimum attainment of Grade 6 / Grade B in GCSE Maths. Once AAT qualified you may go on to study for chartered qualifications.
As an applicant for the ICAEW (also known as ACA) or ACCA trainee programme we would expect you to be a graduate with a predicted or attained minimum 2:1 degree.
