About the role: We are looking for a strategic seller to be at the forefront of our growth and success. Focusing on acquiring new enterprise clients through the most strategic and complex deals in our portfolio. This quota‑carrying senior sales role is dedicated to originating and closing multi‑million‑pound transformation opportunities from brand new clients. The deals will primarily encompass Mainframe modernisation, data centre exit, infrastructure transformation and hybrid cloud services. Managing and orchestrating the end‑to‑end sales cycle for high‑value strategic pursuits, you will work closely with C‑suite clients to understand their business‑critical priorities and architect large‑scale transformation programmes that address complex infrastructure and platform challenges. Success in this role will come from building trusted executive‑level relationships and closing large, multi‑year managed services engagements while navigating multi‑stakeholder, high‑stakes deal processes.

What you’ll bring to Ensono:

  • Proven track record of winning complex, multi‑million‑pound strategic deals in enterprise IT services.
  • At least 10 years of enterprise new‑logo sales experience in managed services, infrastructure transformation, mainframe, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong background in complex sales and strategic bidding, including leading large‑scale RFPs, negotiations, and multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated success in originating and closing large transformation programmes such as mainframe modernisation or data centre exit initiatives.
  • Ability to operate at C‑suite level, shaping strategic discussions and building trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and senior executives.
  • Consultative and outcome‑oriented sales style, with expertise in shaping long‑term managed services engagements.
  • Deep understanding of the UK enterprise market and strong existing executive networks.
  • Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of pricing models, long‑term contracts, transition governance and risk frameworks for large transformation deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with credibility at the board level.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands‑on approach with a track record of consistently exceeding growth targets.
