Overview
We are working with one of NI’s fastest growing tech start-ups to recruit for a UI/UX Designer.
We’re looking for someone that can enhance their existing client portal and create new, user-friendly features. You’ll analyse current pages, design intuitive experiences, and ensure consistency across applications.
This role involves close collaboration with product, development, and QA teams.
Responsibilities
- Review portal pages, identify usability issues, and suggest improvements.
- Design new features and pages with wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI.
- Conduct user research, testing, and feedback sessions.
- Translate requirements into clear user journeys and design solutions.
- Maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
- Ensure responsive, accessible, and modern design standards.
- Collaborate with developers to bring designs to life.
- Document design decisions and guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio (web apps/portals).
- Skilled in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of user-centred design, interaction design, and usability.
- Experience with responsive web apps and SPAs.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Agile team experience (JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Angular-based SPAs.
- Background in dashboards, portals, or enterprise apps.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud products.
- Experience with UX analytics tools (Hotjar, GA, Mixpanel).
- Knowledge of motion design and micro-interactions.
