This role offers the chance to take a hands-on leadership position within a collaborative team responsible for maintaining and evolving a highly available, scalable cloud environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding DevOps practices, supporting rapid deployment cycles, and driving infrastructure improvements across a growing SaaS platform with a global reach.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership to the DevOps function while remaining actively involved in hands-on engineering work.
- Manage and optimise AWS-based infrastructure with tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Partner with development, product, and security teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable systems.
- Oversee CI/CD processes and support multiple daily releases with minimal disruption.
- Shape infrastructure strategy, influencing best practices and architectural decisions.
- Experience leading DevOps efforts or teams in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Strong expertise in AWS services including networking, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, and container orchestration with EKS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage production systems, resolve incidents, and implement effective change controls.
- A pragmatic approach to balancing technical, security, and operational priorities.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
