As part of this, we are seeking a GIS Solution Consultant to join their team working on one of Northern Irelands most significant public sector digital transformation projects. If you have strong technical experience with solutions consultancy as well as knowledge of spatial data and geospatial products,read on! The Roles The successful candidates will be instrumental in understanding the customers business needs, working with the platform geospatial product owner to align the customer solution with platform vision and roadmap, defining future processes, standing up the companys Geospatial software platform to meet the desired outcomes and managing the transition from legacy systems to this state-of-the-art platform. Responsibilities: Understand the platform to a high degree of technical understanding Understand the customers legacy systems including database analysis and process analysis Understand the customer and external stakeholders business needs Work closely with customers to understand their operational and technical requirements and provide integrated solutions based on the platform Transitioning customers from legacy systems to the new platform Ensure seamless integration of the platform with existing customer systems and workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and seamless operational continuity Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 5+ Years Experience working in software product/platform-based implementations and integrations Strong experience in Data discovery, migration, modelling and migration Strong experience with systems engineering and enterprise scale software integrations Experience of service design: working with the customer through workshops to understand the customers business needs Experience of solution-oriented engineering process Experience of workflow analysis: negotiating and writing user journeys & use cases Familiar with leading opensource geospatial products such as QGIS, OpenLayers, Geoserver, PostGIS, ArcGIS, etc. Knowledge of WebGIS architecture and design Knowledge of cadastre, surveys and land administration Knowledge of the Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) Salary Package Salary: £60-80K Bonus Pension Healthcare Skills: GIS Geoserver Openlayers
