They are now seeking a PMO Analyst to support financial governance, portfolio reporting, and project assurance activities across a large-scale change portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across project delivery, financial analysis, governance, and stakeholder coordination within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in supporting portfolio governance and financial management activities across a complex project and change environment. This role combines PMO support, financial oversight, governance, and reporting, making it ideal for someone who enjoys analysing data, improving processes, and helping ensure projects remain aligned to delivery and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support financial management activities across the project and change portfolio, including budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Maintain and produce portfolio-level financial and governance reporting
  • Support governance processes, quality assurance reviews, and control activities across projects and programmes
  • Assist with project tracking, reporting, and portfolio analysis activities
  • Work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to support planning and governance requirements
  • Support meeting coordination, reporting packs, action tracking, and stakeholder updates
  • Help identify risks, issues, and governance concerns across the portfolio
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across PMO processes, reporting, and controls
  • Support financial audits, month-end activities, and governance reporting where required

About You

  • Experience working within a PMO, Project Support, Portfolio Support, or Governance role
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present financial or project data clearly
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
  • Comfortable working within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
