They are now seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer (Business Central) to join their IT team and support the ongoing improvement of critical business systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, process improvement, and working closely with users across the business within a collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in supporting and improving core business systems, with a particular focus on Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role combines 2nd line support, systems analysis, and continuous improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both resolving technical issues and identifying opportunities to improve how systems and processes operate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support across core business systems, including Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system and user issues efficiently
- Support IT-related projects, including testing, reporting, and issue management
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
- Work closely with users, internal teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure systems meet business requirements
- Use AI tools alongside Power Platform tools, including PowerApps and Power Automate, to support automation and improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to user support and training
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across systems, reporting, and operational processes
- Participate in an on-call rota to support business continuity where required
About You
- 1+ years experience in an IT Support or Systems Support role
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as PowerApps and Power Automate
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvements
- Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical users
- Proactive, organised, and eager to learn
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites where required
