This role can be based at our Milton Park, Bristol or Cambridge office and is part-time, 4 days per week. The Strategic Supply Chain Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring EnSilica’s global operations are efficient, resilient, and scalable. This position partners closely with internal teams — including Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance — to align operational decisions with company goals, market dynamics, and competitive positioning. You will bring a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and deep experience in supplier management and global sourcing in the semiconductor industry. Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and long‑term scalability across global supply chain activities. Align sourcing and supply chain strategies with EnSilica’s business objectives, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Act as a strategic advisor by providing insights on market trends, supply risks, geopolitical factors, and technology roadmaps that influence global operations. Financial & Operational Analysis Assess supplier cost structures, develop cost models, analyse variances, forecast budgets, and evaluate ROI for supply chain initiatives. Support commercial teams with customer quotations, pricing inputs, and pre‑sales cost estimates. Lead ERP/MRP implementation projects and other system enhancements based on business needs. Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and operational performance. Strong semiconductor technical background, preferably Degree in Science or Engineering discipline. ~4 years+ proven experience in strategic supply chain management within a semiconductor global environment. ~ Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex semiconductor supplier relationships. ~ Understanding of IC manufacturing methods relating to process and packaging with experience in building supply chain and cost models for multi BOM SiP and stacked packages. ~ Experience with ERP systems and leading system implementation projects. ~ Understanding of the Fabless business model, ISO9000 or similar management systems. ~ You think holistically, are creative, and have a quick grasp, which enables you to maintain an overview in complex situations and make well-founded decisions. ~ Private Medical healthcare, salary sacrifice pension scheme (matched up to 5%), 26 days annual leave, life assurance, discretionary annual bonus, share option scheme, hybrid and flexible working This role is hybrid; our guideline is for 3 days in the office. Some occasional travel may be required to another EnSilica office.
