Due to rapid growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Commercial department, for a Junior Tender Engineer to join the team.
This role will involve assisting with the preparation of tenders to meet company needs and comply with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tender documents and produce tender summary for Bid / No-Bid
- Select assets and produce installation methodology based on project characteristics
- Carry out Weather Downtime analysis (Training Available)
- Gather quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Assist with costings and cashflow forecasts
Key Tasks:
- Thorough review of ITT, definition of Client/tender requirements, preparation of Tender Summary Slides
- Produce deck layouts in AutoCAD (Training provided)
- Produce project schedules (Training provided)
- Prepare technical tender documentation
- Provide support with technical clarifications received by the Client in a timely manner, gathering responses from internal departments where necessary
- Contribute to contract handovers to the project team on successful tenders and provide support throughout the life of the project, including attendance at lessons learnt meetings
Key Measurables:
- Tender documents completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner
- Close working relationship maintained with internal departments
- Evidence of key selling points demonstrated throughout the tender documentation
- Continued support to the Project team as agreed once the project is secured
- Successful conversion of tenders into live projects to achieve agreed EBITDA target
