Ensera Design is a world-class user-centred innovation and product development consultancy, specialising in the medical and consumer health sectors with offices in Bristol, Colorado and New Jersey. As part of Ensera, we collaborate globally with contract manufacturing facilities in Europe, the USA, and Asia.

We are currently seeking a Project and Research Recruitment Coordinator to join our team to support the organisation and management of participant recruitment for design research and Human Factors studies and support the wider business operationally.

In the role you’ll:

  • Work with Design Researchers and Human Factors Consultants to design and deliver studies involving primary research.
  • Maintain organised documentation, data logs, and project tracking tools.
  • Assist with the study set-up, project planning and timelines.
  • Manage relationships with fieldwork recruitment partners.
  • Source, screen and recruit research participants.
  • Manage participant databases, panels, screeners and outreach tools.
  • Organise research logistics including facility bookings, virtual meetings, tech checks and observer access.
  • Assist with note‑taking, transcription coordination and post‑study wrap‑up.
  • Comply with GDPR and pro‑actively advise on best practice of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Onboard new clients and suppliers.
  • Draft, review and advise on Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Data Processing Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Master Service Agreements & Non Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Perform audits on Design Research and Human Factors projects that contain PII against internal processes and ISO 13485 expectations.

Your skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of organising studies involving primary research, including commercial aspects.
  • Previous experience of liaising with recruitment partners.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and best practice of data processing management.
  • You’ll be detail‑orientated and enjoy delivering a high level of service to a variety of stakeholders.
  • You’ll have excellent prioritisation skills and thrive on getting things done.

The salary for this role is ÂŁ38,000 to ÂŁ42,000. You will be asked to provide your preferred salary as part of your application.
