Overview
Join to apply for the Product Manager role at ENSEK. You will report to the Head of Product and be responsible for maintaining the Product Roadmap for your domain, translating it into a backlog of initiatives, and delivering the desired outcomes. In the early product life cycle you will identify dependencies and ensure key stakeholders are engaged from the start. You will work closely with engineers to incorporate tech and operations input into the definition phase of initiatives and line-manage Product Owners within your squads.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Product Roadmap for your area of responsibility and translate it into a backlog of initiatives, re-prioritising as required.
- Understand and manage dependencies between and for each product initiative.
- Agree objectives, commercial value, and investment for each initiative.
- Ensure clarity on key results, outcomes, KPIs, and acceptance criteria for each initiative.
- Work with Engineering to size the effort and identify technology implications.
- Continuously monitor progress to deliver the Product Roadmap.
- Define the customer experience and review initiatives to enhance the customer journey.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews of the Product Roadmap or backlog of initiatives.
- Foster close collaboration with engineers, tribe and squad colleagues to align priorities and upcoming work.
- Provide support, coaching, and direction to Product Owners and other stakeholders as needed.
- Promote ENSEK values and contribute to a positive, results-oriented work environment.
Technical Skills
- Experience in managing and delivering projects, prioritising for alignment and delivery of product initiatives.
- Experience in an agile environment; energy/utilities background is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong project management skills with a flexible attitude capable of thriving in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working with multi-disciplined teams on product initiatives.
- Experience in a B2B environment; familiarity with Aha! SaaS, and billing processes.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence across the business.
- Problem solver capable of facilitating timely decisions.
- Client-focused approach with diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to coach, support, and lead teams through influence and persuasion.
