Position Summary
The Product Manager for Identity, Access Management & Customer Configuration owns a foundational and fast-expanding area of the ENSEK platform. You are accountable for the strategy, roadmap and outcomes of how users, roles, AI agents, and customers are authenticated, authorised, and configured across the system. As agentic AI becomes a first-class citizen in the platform, this role carries growing responsibility for the security, auditability, and governance of non-human actors. You work as the connective tissue between engineering, security, commercial, and customer teams to ensure these capabilities are built right and deliver measurable business value.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, vision and roadmap for identity and access management — evolving coverage from human users to AI agents, and incorporating auditing and security governance requirements as they emerge.
- Define and drive product requirements for AI agent identity and permissions, working closely with the AI framework team to ensure agentic systems are appropriately secured, auditable, and governed.
- Lead the customer configuration product area — understanding how configuration needs vary across customer segments and building scalable, self-service capabilities that reduce operational burden.
- Make evidence-based prioritisation decisions across identity, access, and configuration workstreams, estimating effort and value of roadmap items and communicating trade-offs transparently with stakeholders.
- Define and track key product outcomes — implementing dashboards for real-time performance visibility and using data to drive continuous improvement in security posture and customer experience.
- Create and maintain a prioritised roadmap, working with your team to validate what adds value now and in future, drafting PRDs and specifications — leveraging AI to accelerate documentation.
- Build long-term stakeholder relationships, implementing communications strategies and influencing effectively to drive alignment and outcomes.
Key Outcomes
- A secure, auditable identity and access management capability that extends to AI agents and meets evolving security and compliance requirements.
- Customer configuration capabilities that reduce onboarding friction and operational support burden, with measurable improvement in customer outcomes.
- Roadmap delivered to agreed timelines, with clear evidence of value realised against investment.
- Defined and tracked KPIs across identity, access, and configuration areas, with regular data-driven reviews.
- Positive stakeholder feedback on communication, transparency and decision-making quality.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience owning and delivering a product or significant product feature end-to-end, ideally in an identity, security, or platform configuration domain.
- Understanding of identity and access management concepts (RBAC, OAuth, SSO, audit logging) sufficient to make credible product decisions alongside engineering and security teams.
- Awareness of security and compliance considerations relevant to agentic AI systems is advantageous.
- Ability to make autonomous, data-informed product decisions and communicate them clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships, including senior commercial and security partners.
- Experience working in energy, utility tech, SaaS, or platform-based product environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with experimentation platforms and AI productivity tools is advantageous.

- 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
- Option to buy or sell 5 extra annual leave days per year
- Vitality Health Insurance, including private healthcare, virtual GP access, mental‑health support and wellbeing perks (50% off gym memberships - Virgin Active, Nuffield, PureGym)
- Pension with 5% matched contribution
- Regular team‑wide and company‑wide events
