We help retailers lower operating costs, improve billing accuracy for consumers, and enhance customer experience through automation and AI‐driven insight, all underpinned by modern, cloud‐native architecture.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Payments, Risk and Collections, the Credit Risk Product Manager owns ENSEK's end-to-end credit risk product strategy across acquisition, onboarding, in-life risk management, collections and debt recovery. You will shape and deliver credit risk capabilities across B2C, B2B and I&C markets, balancing regulatory compliance, commercial outcomes and customer experience while partnering closely with engineering, commercial, design and client teams. This is a highly autonomous product role where you will make data-driven decisions, influence strategic direction and help energy suppliers reduce bad debt exposure through modern SaaS and AI-enabled risk capabilities.

  • Own and evolve the credit risk product strategy, vision and roadmap across the full customer lifecycle
  • Define and prioritise initiatives spanning acquisition, in-life risk management and collections strategies
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements (FCA, Ofgem, ICO) into clear, actionable product deliverables
  • Partner with engineering to scope, size and deliver scalable, data-driven capabilities
  • Use data to define KPIs, dashboards and performance frameworks, driving continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure the product addresses real-world credit and collections challenges

Key outcomes:

  • Increased adoption and measurable client outcomes across the credit risk product suite
  • Reduced bad debt exposure through improved credit decisioning
  • Delivery of roadmap initiatives with clear commercial value and impact
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and high-quality, data-driven decision making
  • Ongoing regulatory compliance across credit risk, collections and data usage

Experience required:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in SaaS, ideally in fintech, credit or utilities
  • Track record delivering credit risk or financial decisioning products end-to-end
  • Strong understanding of credit lifecycle processes (acquisition, in-life management, collections)
  • Deep knowledge of collections-stage credit risk utilisation, including debt scoring, propensity-to-pay modelling, Gini curves, retro analysis, performance tracking, scorecards, segmentation strategies, and working with DCAs
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, Ofgem, CRA data, GDPR)
  • Data-led mindset with experience defining metrics, dashboards and experimentation approaches
  • Passion for and experience in AI-driven credit decisioning, leveraging AI-powered platforms, bureau data enrichment tools and predictive analytics to improve model accuracy and accelerate insight generation
  • Ability to work autonomously, influence stakeholders and drive product decisions at pace

  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • Option to buy or sell 5 extra annual leave days per year
