About the role
Own the Asset Management product area end-to-end, shaping the systems that manage the lifecycle of metering assets across the UK energy market. Work hands-on with designers and engineers to deliver high‑impact product improvements in a fast‑moving, scale‑up environment. Define success, set key metrics, and continuously improve outcomes for users, retailers and partners through data‑driven decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Asset Management, informed by users, retailers and commercial partners
- Work closely with engineers and designers, running standups, reviewing designs and unblocking delivery day‑to‑day
- Define and track key performance metrics (e.g. asset issue rates, MTD processing accuracy, onboarding times)
- Conduct user research and bring actionable insights into product decisions and stakeholder conversations
- Run experiments, analyse data, and iterate based on evidence to improve product outcomes
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining a product‑led approach and protecting team focus

- Increased feature adoption and improved user outcomes across Asset Management
- Reduction in asset‑related issues across the retailer portfolio

Experience required
- Proven experience owning a product or domain end‑to‑end, with clear evidence of delivering measurable outcomes
- Strong data‑driven decision‑making and ability to define and move key product metrics
- Experience working closely with engineers and designers in a hands‑on delivery environment
- Track record managing complex stakeholder relationships, ideally in regulated or data‑sensitive industries
- Ability to build and maintain outcome‑driven product roadmaps
- Experience in scale‑ups or product‑led organisations, with a bias toward action and execution
