Role overview: Reporting to the CFO, this role is accountable for defining and implementing ENSEK’s global FP&A strategy as the business expands across multiple territories. The role is critical in driving commercial awareness and acumen across the business and supporting informed, commercial decisions. The role will build out an FP&A team to provide insightful, commercially focused financial analysis and KPIs to key decision makers, develop efficient technology enabled processes and provide regular consistent reforecasting and scenario analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and oversee annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and strategic forecasts.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyse performance against budget and forecast, identify key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities, and prepare insightful reports for executives and the board.
- Performance Management: Track KPIs, monitor business performance, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Business Partnering: Partner with operational leaders and department heads to align financial plans with business strategy, embed financial insight into commercial decisions, and promote financial literacy.
- Forecasting & Modelling: Develop and maintain dynamic financial models for scenario planning, sensitivities, and commercial assessments.
- Process & Systems Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in FP&A systems, processes, and automation to enhance consistency, efficiency and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate financial insights and strategic recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders, including the executive team and internal stakeholder groups.
- Budgetary Control: Develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that financial targets are delivered.
- Develop Commercial Awareness: Provide financial ad hoc advice and guidance to the company’s managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.
