Are you an experienced Senior Electronics Test Engineer seeking a new permanent role? We have an exciting opportunity to work for a long established and very successful, award winning manufacturing company based in Southend on Sea, Essex. As a Senior Electronics Test Engineer you will be dealing with the following:
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
* Functional Testing of board level audio products. Ensure the equipment is properly tested, calibrated, and certified according to corresponding test procedures.
* Experienced at fault find electronics down to the component level to determine cause and remedy any faults. Fault find and repair final assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.
* Reworking boards as required to a high standard of accuracy, this will include single sided and PTH multi-layer PCBs with through hole and surface mount components.
* Provide technical support to the production team when necessary.
* Production and maintenance of test procedures are required in conjunction with Design.
* Ability to read and understand circuit schematics, and ability to understand functionality of analogue and digital circuits of moderate complexity.
* Good organisation and time management to ensure jobs are carried out in a timely manner.
* Responsible for following health and safety procedures are being followed.
