Our client specialises in vehicle and plant repairs, maintenance, and fleet management. As a trusted partner to some of the UK’s most recognised names in the utilities, transport and telecoms sector, they are currently recruiting a Compliance Technician. This is a mobile role covering the East London/Essex area (van provided for business use only).

Successfully completing these tasks will ensure the business continually operates fluently to meet the requirements of our BS EN ISO 9001: 2015, BS EN ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental & BS EN ISO 45001: 2018 Health & Safety Certificates.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with your other team members, organise, plan & carry out routine visits to customer locations to conduct planned compliance inspections.
  • Undertake service inspections to vehicle ancillary equipment following service documents provided on their PDA software.
  • Provide accurate and timely service reports to your team supervisor and controller detailing assets completed.
  • Create digital records of work undertaken on the equipment and submit work records and certification.
  • Provide regular maintenance and repairs to all equipment as required to prevent excessive downtime through unit failure.
  • With assistance from your team supervisor, manage and control your own supply and stock holding of general consumable items and fast-moving parts.
  • Ensure your vehicle is kept clean & tidy, ensuring it is always presentable and carrying out daily checks to ensure it is kept in serviceable condition.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken to a high standard and that vehicles or plant are only released back to the user once they are in a safe and serviceable condition.
  • Complete supplied training for H&S items such as Risk Assessments & COSHH management.
