ENS Recruitment is a long established recruitment company specialising in the health and social care sector. Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Recruitment & Retention Consultant to work with our existing Recruitment & Retention Consultant, based at our offices in Westcliff on Sea, Essex. As the Recruitment & Retention Consultant, you\βll drive the full-cycle recruitment and retention process for our Community Support Workers, covering both contracted staff and agency personnel within the Care and Support Division. This fast-paced role is critical for ensuring service continuity, meeting staffing targets, and upholding our high care standards. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet key performance Indicators (KPIs), delivering timely and effective recruitment and retention solutions to our evolving needs. Key Responsibilities * Candidate Pipeline Management: Work collaboratively with the Care & Support team to maintain a robust and active pipeline of pre-vetted candidates, responding swiftly to urgent staffing needs and consistently achieving agreed performance targets. * Proactive Sourcing: Source candidates through diverse channels including job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and talent attraction initiatives. * Job Posting & Content: Develop innovative and engaging job postings to attract top talent. * Talent Management: Manage the attraction, recruitment, and retention of suitable candidates to meet the dynamic needs of the division. Compliance You will ensure that only suitably qualified and fully compliant workers are deployed, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements. This includes: * Vetting & Screening: Complete all candidate vetting and screening in accordance with REC, Home Office/Border Agency, and all other relevant UK sector-specific legislation and good practice. * Application Review: Interview, review, and evaluate candidate applications, identifying employment gaps and requesting references to confirm employment history. * Right to Work & Checks: Assess identification, address history, eligibility, and confirm Right to Work in the UK, including completing online Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks. * Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and compliant records within relevant databases and spreadsheets, adhering to legislation. * Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and continuously improve candidate vetting processes in line with internal policies and industry standards. * Regulatory Support: Assist in gathering internal information in response to regulatory requests and report any irregularities or non-compliance issues to management. Requirements Experience: Essential experience in health and social care recruitment. * Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of community support service needs. * Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a strong commitment to compliance and safeguarding. * Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
