We are recruiting for a Generator Engineer based in Canning Town, London E16. Our client is an all-in-one destination for vehicle and plant repairs and maintenance, offering a comprehensive outsourcing service to a range of clients.

As a Generator Engineer, you will be responsible for all service and repairs on site equipment, ensuring excellent customer service and a high standard of service and repairs. Your main base will be at the client's site in Canning Town, with some work in surrounding areas as needed. Candidates residing in Ilford, Barking, Stratford, Tilbury, Dagenham, and Grays would be ideal.

The working hours are 47.5 hours per week, starting at 7.00am. The main focus is on maintaining a fleet of approximately 120 towable generators (6 KVA-200KVA), carrying out daily service maintenance and repair tasks. Training will be provided to experienced Plant Engineers interested in working with Generators.

You will report to the site office each morning for a list of required repairs and complete pre-booked service work. Job sheets and bookings are communicated via tablet. Candidates are required to have their own tools, but specialist tooling can be supplied if needed, such as torque wrenches and testing gauges.

There is a small workshop on site, but some work will be outside on the site grounds. A company vehicle will be available on site for sourcing parts and may be used for local jobs as required, but it is not permitted for personal use.
