We are recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to work for a manufacturing company based in Southend on Sea. Experience in cleaning in commercial premises is essential. This temporary role may become permanent after a minimum of 3 months and requires references available for an immediate start.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Hoovering and mopping floors
  • Keeping factory areas, warehouse, offices, communal areas, and toilets clean and tidy, and emptying waste bins
  • Cleaning the canteen area

Hours are 8 am–4:45 pm, Monday to Friday, and will be reviewed weekly. Some heavy lifting will be involved. Availability to start at short notice is required.

Compensation and benefits:

  • Hourly rate of £13.00, plus free lunch provided daily in the canteen.

Requirements:

  • Commercial premises cleaning experience
  • References required
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Car ownership preferred unless you are local to Southend (location on an industrial estate)
