The role
- Provide personalised 2:1 support for an individual with Asperger's Syndrome with a spinal injury.
- Clinical experience is required but personalised training is provided by the nurse.
- Support with personal care, daily activities, and accessing the community
- Work with non-verbal service users, using communication tools and approaches
- Confident with manual handling tasks including wheelchair use and hoisting
- Build meaningful relationships while developing professional care skills
