Key Accountabilities
- Lead the recruitment and selection processes, attracting high quality individuals aligned with ETC business objectives.
- Support the HR Manager in delivering a professional HR service.
- Ensure ETC Ltd fulfils its legal and social requirements in line with HR Processes.
- Provide advice and guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring they are managed appropriately and meet employment legislative requirements.
- Provide consistent and effective deployment of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect up to date employment law and best practice.
- Develop strong working relationships with managers and key stakeholders to deliver successful business outcomes.
- Develop a strong working relationship with the HR team providing support and cover when required.
- Assist with internal and external audits to support continuous improvement.
- Support the arrangements for the Graduate Development Programme and International Assignments.
- Ensure Security Compliance processes are maintained.
- Support the coordination and completion of the annual Performance Review & Objective Setting process.
Experience & Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 (CIPP beneficial).
- 5 years’ experience working as a HR Business Partner preferably within a technical/engineering environment.
- Experience of working in a process driven and regulated environment.
- Expert in recruitment and selection methodologies including competency-based interviewing.
- Employee relations experience providing expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and ability to apply offering practical HR solutions.
- Effective task management, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft applications required and working knowledge of HRMS systems beneficial.
