Teaching
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments, making use of the school's extensive outdoor space.
- Promote early communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Maintain good behaviour by following the school's pupil behaviour policy and procedures.
- Ensure punctuality and establish a purposeful working atmosphere during all learning activities.
- Maintain excellent classroom management with due regard to health and safety policies.
- Set appropriate and challenging work for all pupils.
- Identify and work appropriately with 'special educational needs' pupils and 'academically more able' students.
Assessment, recording and reporting
- Observe, assess, and record children's development using EYFS assessment methods.

- Carry out assessment programmes, as agreed by the school.
