Shape people strategy. Support leaders. Make a real impact in education. We’re looking for a confident and people-focused HR Advisor to join us on a six-month fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a collaborative and supportive team where your expertise will make an immediate difference across our schools.
This is more than a typical HR role. You’ll be at the heart of our organisation, partnering with leaders to create positive workplaces where staff and students can thrive. You won’t just be supporting HR; you will be:

What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with Head Teachers/managers to provide clear, practical HR advice
- Lead and support casework including disciplinary, grievance, and capability
- Use data to improve attendance and performance
- Champion equality, diversity, and employee wellbeing
- Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Coach and upskill managers to build strong leadership capability
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Is CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it or has relevant experience
- Has 2 years experience in a HR Advisor role
- Communicates with clarity, empathy, and influence
- Is calm under pressure and confident handling sensitive situations with empathy
- Builds trust quickly and works well with a wide range of stakeholders
- Is organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Experience in the education sector is not essential, training can be provided
