Enrich Education Recruitment is working with a welcoming nursery in Mill Hill who are looking for an experienced Chef to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, organised and committed Chef who understands the importance of providing healthy, balanced and nutritious meals for young children in an early years setting.

The nursery is looking for someone who can take full responsibility for preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children throughout the day. You will need to be confident managing a busy kitchen environment, following food hygiene procedures and supporting the nursery’s commitment to high standards of care.

The Nursery Is Looking For

The successful candidate must have previous experience working as a Chef. Experience within a nursery, school or childcare setting is highly desirable, as you will be preparing meals for young children and will need to understand allergies, dietary requirements and safeguarding expectations within an education environment. You will need to be professional, reliable and confident working independently, while also communicating well with nursery staff and leadership.

Requirements
  • Previous chef experience is essential
  • Previous experience in a nursery, school or childcare setting is highly desirable
  • Relevant food hygiene / food safety qualifications required
  • Strong understanding of allergies, dietary requirements and safe food preparation
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to process a new DBS
  • Reliable, organised and able to start ASAP
