Enrich Education Recruitment is working with a welcoming 2-form-entry primary school in Barnet seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join its Nursery team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse or Early Years Educator who enjoys working with younger children and wants to work within a school-based Nursery environment. You'll join an established Early Years team with experienced teachers and practitioners, with a strong focus on learning through play, communication, independence and preparing children for Reception.
The Role
- Support learning through purposeful play
- Plan and lead engaging small-group activities
- Support early language and communication development
- Encourage early literacy and numeracy skills
- Help children develop confidence and independence
- Support personal, social and emotional development
- Contribute to observations and assessment
- Help create engaging indoor and outdoor learning activities
- Establish positive routines within the Nursery
- Provide additional support to children with SEN where required
