Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of roles, from vacancy briefing through to offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Provide market insight, talent mapping and recruitment advice to support informed hiring decisions.
  • Create engaging job adverts and candidate attraction campaigns across multiple sourcing channels.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates through direct search, networking and talent pooling activities.
  • Screen, assess and shortlist candidates against role requirements, competencies and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and support interviews, assessment activities and selection processes.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey, maintaining regular communication and feedback.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Work with hiring managers to reduce time-to-hire and improve recruitment efficiency.
  • Monitor recruitment performance metrics and provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders.
  • Promote the organisation's employer brand through recruitment campaigns, networking events, careers fairs and social media activity.
  • Support early careers, graduate, apprenticeship and internship programmes where applicable.
  • Ensure recruitment processes remain compliant with employment legislation, internal policies and diversity, equity and inclusion principles.
  • Continuously review and improve recruitment processes, tools and systems to enhance effectiveness and candidate experience.
  • Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to colleague.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Previous in-house recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice and UK employment legislation.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience recruiting within financial services.
