The predicted salary is between 50000 - 70000 Β£ per year.
To support the Group's funding activities and ALM from both an execution and analytical perspective. Work closely with finance, credit and product teams to help achieve an optimised funding structure for the group. Perform the day-to-day allocation of term mortgage loans across our various funding platforms. Perform the day to day analysis and prepare all necessary materials for execution of interest rate swaps to manage the group's fixed-floating interest rate exposure.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare regular monthly, weekly and ad-hoc (as required) reporting and analysis to help the group maintain transparency over its funding position.
- Manage allocation of term mortgage loans across our various funding lines.
- Assist in the execution, measurement and optimisation of the group's hedging strategy.
- Update and maintain group cash-flow models.
- Prepare the monthly pack to submit to ALCO.
- Assist the Director, Funding Solutions in preparing any additional funding-related analysis for monthly Board meetings.
- Prepare ad-hoc additional funding-related analysis as required from time to time.
- Be an ambassador of the company, helping maintain relationships with banks, investors, rating agencies and other relevant financial counterparties.
- Prepare securitisation benchmarking analysis on a quarterly basis (or more frequently when market activity is high) to help the group to understand the performance of its securitisation programme.
- Systematically capture key competitor behaviours and metrics, general securitisation statistics, key macroeconomic variables and directly analyse competitors public securitisation transactions.
- Keep investor marketing materials up to date - ensuring all data is accurate.
- Assist in preparing due diligence material for funding partners and rating agencies.
- Assist in the review of transaction documentation for any new funding activities.
- Prepare and maintain transaction summaries for all funding facilities and public securitisation transactions.
- Key monthly reporting all maintained and updated on a timely basis and to a high standard.
- Term product pipeline is appropriately allocated and updated at least weekly.
- Hedging effectiveness for the group's term product portfolio is maintained.
- Securitisation benchmarking analysis process is constantly enhanced over time.
- Competitor deal data is routinely captured and updated as competitors come to market.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced modelling skills.
- Have an ability to quickly pick-up technical skills.
- Any prior experience of financial modelling and Excel would be advantageous.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- General understanding of RMBS and different funding solutions.
- Advantageous to understand Fixed Income.
- Advantageous to understand banks and insurance firms.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in economics, finance, or STEM subject.
