Key Accountabilities
- The role requires you manage loan applications from submission of the application form through to completion assisting the underwriters and liaising with all third-party stakeholders, including brokers, solicitors, and valuers.
- You will be responsible for all inbound call taking and keeping data up to date for the whole team.
- You will be responsible for taking ownership of allocated cases from submission of the application form through to completion.
- Answering and distributing incoming calls in a professional manner and actioning where appropriate.
- Handling incoming queries from our introducers and/or customers regarding potential and existing loan applications.
- Preparing loan documentation/term sheets.
- Following up on documentation sent with our introducers.
- Updating data on spreadsheets.
- Liaising with our underwriting teams to provide a high standard of service to our broker partners.
- Assessing loan documentation, including valuation reports and requesting additional information from brokers where required, highlighting any concerns.
- Carrying out checks on the applicants and properties and assessing their suitability for the loan applied for.
- Proactively chasing outstanding information from third parties and providing timely updates to introducers to enable service excellence.
- Liaising with introducers and solicitors.
- Overseeing cases from inception through to completion.
