This is a wide-reaching compliance role, with a focus on the implementation and delivery of the firm’s Compliance Monitoring Plan. The key focus of the role will be on the delivery of agreed reviews on aspects of the business, as dictated by Senior Management, Conduct Risk Assessments, FCA priorities, Consumer Duty application, etc. to provide assurance that policy and procedure are working as intended across the business to provide good customer outcomes.
Engagement with business owners to understand each function's adherence to regulations and the management of agreed change will be core to being successful in the role.
Key Accountabilities:- Provide expert support on the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Programme’s reviews to identify and manage change.
- Undertake testing and analysis of controls including policies, procedures, reporting, etc. in their application to mitigate specific conduct risks against specified products and/or target markets.
- Carry out ad hoc requests by the Head of Compliance and/or the business as required.
- Support the implementation of regulatory and policy developments and initiatives.
- Provide specialist compliance input, advice and support to the business.
- Represent compliance at project team meetings and at other forums, including external forums where required.
- Support work requests in relation to regulatory and policy such as with the preparation and submission of applications and reports to the FCA.
- Keep up to date the firm’s key compliance registers and logs as required.
- Build and maintain relationships with the businesses’ key stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with the regulatory horizon and future changes that may affect the business and its customers.
