Stokesley Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced lead SEND Teacher to join our ambitious and committed team.
This role is to lead on teaching and learning in the SEND Unit, teaching up to 8 children with a range of needs and managing a team of 2 teaching assistants to ensure the learning and SEMH needs of all children are met.
We are looking to appoint someone who:
- is an experienced teacher of children with complex SEND
- is passionate about the rights of children with SEND and ambitious for their achievement every day.
- shows compassion, resilience and patience in their care for children with SEND.
- holds every child and their family in the highest possible regard and lead by example, having high expectations of what every child can achieve.
You will benefit from a designated, purpose-built setting, with high quality resources. The appointed candidate will work alongside our Assistant Vice Principal and will be well-supported by the Senior Leadership Team and The Enquire Learning Trust who are committed to providing the very best teaching and learning for all our children and are ambitious for their achievement.
