We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technical Specialist to act as the company’s principal expert in wastewater mechanical engineering. In this role, you will support the Engineering Manager and Mechanical Department in developing technical capability, evaluating new technologies, and providing high-level mechanical expertise across bids and project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on mechanical technical matters for wastewater systems and processes.
- Investigate and assess new mechanical technologies and equipment.
- Provide expert support to Bid and Delivery Teams.
- Support the development of mechanical engineering standards and best practice.
- Liaise with licensors and suppliers to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to training, mentoring, and competency development within the Mechanical team.
About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years’ experience in wastewater, water, or similar heavy engineering sector.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to stay current with mechanical technology developments and share insights across the business.
