We are looking for a highly experienced Downstream Oil & Gas Finance Reporting Architect to support a major finance and reporting transformation programme. This is not a generic SAP reporting role. SAP knowledge is desired, but this is a non-technical role and the experience of oil and gas (downstream specifically) is crucial.

We need somebody who understands how downstream operations, trading, supply, retail, chemicals and lubricants businesses map into enterprise finance reporting structures and target-state finance data models. You will help define and shape:

  • Reporting hierarchies and KPI structures
  • Chart of Accounts harmonisation
  • Enterprise reporting architecture
  • SAP Central Finance aligned reporting structures
  • Finance and operational data integration principles
  • Management reporting and analytics frameworks

Strong exposure across the following domains is highly desirable:

  • Chemicals
  • Lubricants
  • Trading & supply
  • Refining / manufacturing
  • Inventory and margin reporting

Key experience required:

  • Downstream Oil & Gas industry expertise
  • Finance reporting architecture
  • SAP Central Finance exposure
  • Chart of Accounts design / rationalisation
  • Group reporting / management reporting
  • Data governance and reporting harmonisation

Ideal background:

  • Major consulting experience within Energy / Downstream transformation programmes
  • Ability to operate at blueprint and architecture level rather than purely technical delivery
