The Digital Marketing Manager runs acquisition and retention marketing programmes for Enotria’s B2B and B2C channels. Working alongside a Website Manager who manages on-site content, data and merchandising, you will ensure that both the Enotria and The Great Wine Co. have marketing plans that maximise revenue and lead generation whilst delivering a continually improving ROI, and reflect our professionalism, service and the quality of our portfolio.

Job Specifications:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, build and execute email marketing campaigns for The Great Wine Co. and Enotria.
  • Manage pay-per-click search marketing activity for The Great Wine Co. (through an external agency) to maximise ROI within agreed budgets.
  • Manage The Great Wine Co. affiliate marketing programme to target primarily customer acquisition and minimise leakage of commission on repeat business.
  • Co-ordinate management reporting on digital effectiveness, including site conversion, marketing effectiveness, cost and return on investment.
  • Measure performance of Enotria’s web properties in organic search, and feedback into the web development and content process to improve SEO on identified key terms.
  • Prospect and develop partnership marketing opportunities with appropriate partner brands.
  • Co-ordinate with the trade marketing team to lead digital participation in cross-functional marketing campaigns.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience successfully managing PPC campaigns, either in-house or through an agency relationship.
  • Experience in developing affiliate and partner relationships with third party brands.
  • A good understanding of online metrics and performance indicators, particularly as they relate to customer acquisition.
  • Data driven with strong analytical skills and ability to translate online metrics into commercially relevant reporting.
  • Self-motivated / gets things done.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to assess and prioritise.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Collaborative.
  • Passion for analytics, data-driven marketing and customer insight.
  • Competent in the use of Excel.

Desirable:

  • WSET wine & spirits qualification or equivalent.
  • A good understanding of basic best practices in search engine optimisation.
  • Ability to create aesthetically appealing visual content to support marketing activity.
  • Basic HTML coding knowledge.
