Field Engineer – MSP – Milton Keynes / South
Do you like being out on site fixing things properly rather than just logging tickets? We’re working with a well-established, growing MSP that needs a hands-on Field Engineer to look after its customers.
You’ll be the face of the business on site, covering everything from day-to-day support through to server, network and firewall work and infrastructure projects. You’ll have real ownership of your customers, plenty of variety, and the trust to get on with it.
What you’ll be doing
- On-site and remote 2nd/3rd line support for a portfolio of SME and mid-market customers
- Server and network infrastructure work, including installs, upgrades, migrations and troubleshooting
- Configuring and supporting firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VLANs and VPNs
- Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune administration
- Deploying new kit and delivering infrastructure projects end to end
- Building strong working relationships with customer contacts
What we’re looking for
- Experience in an MSP or IT services environment
- Hands-on firewall and network experience. Sophos, SonicWall, FortiGate, Meraki, DrayTek or UniFi would be ideal
- Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
- Intune and Azure experience is a strong advantage
- Confident with customers and comfortable working independently on site
- A full UK driving licence and happy to be on the road

Location
You’ll be based in or around Milton Keynes or the South, covering customer sites across the region with occasional travel to Bristol and Exeter.
