Senior Test Automation Engineer

We\’re looking for a technically savvy and certified automation test analyst working as part of a scrum team, responsible for developing and executing automated tests, and collaborating with scrum members to deliver stories within sprints.

Responsibilities

• 2+ years of experience in the financial sector.
• 5+ years of automated testing experience.
• Experience using Ranorex and Selenium/Webdriver to create frameworks is essential.
• Experience in testing both desktop and web applications.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with defect/test management tools like Test Rail.
• Good knowledge and understanding of testing methodologies and approaches.
• Delivery of end-to-end business process testing, including non-functional elements, within a complex and fast-moving business environment.
• Experience with developing frameworks with JMeter using SSH protocol is an advantage but not essential.
• Prior experience with Soap UI.
• Experience and good understanding of CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Experience with developing GUI frameworks from scratch, applying the latest techniques in test automation, e.g., data-driven testing, is essential.
• Exposure to systems developed on various platforms (Windows and Linux).
• Experience with Atlassian Jira is an advantage but not essential.
• ISEB certification to at least Foundation level.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong background in software testing and test automation.
• Strong SQL knowledge with SQL Server or Oracle experience.
• Strong GIT or any similar distributed version control systems.
