ennovationHUB is a fast‑growing international e‑commerce group operating in the home & living category, with a strong focus on furniture. From our hubs in Belgrade and London, we serve customers across the UK, North America, EU, and APAC. As we scale toward €100m+ annual revenue by 2026, we are looking for a COO who will act as the CEO’s right hand in a founder‑led business and take ownership of execution across the company. This is not a traditional COO role, and it is not about running a single department. You will be working with a small group of senior people across Commercial, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain, ensuring the company runs effectively and moves forward as one.
We operate in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment, so you need to be comfortable adapting quickly and working with a high degree of change. The CEO will focus on growth, product, and direction. Your role is to make sure things actually happen, that priorities are clear, teams are aligned, and execution follows through. Our operational set‑up is intentionally complex, spanning multiple legal entities, warehouses, partners, and markets; simplifying it is not the objective; executing it well is. As we scale, improving customer experience and operational performance is a key priority.
What You Will Do
- Drive execution across the company by working through existing senior leaders
- Bring structure, clarity, and prioritisation across teams
- Help align strong individuals with different perspectives and ensure decisions translate into action
- Ensure that what needs to get done, gets done, without unnecessary complexity
- Support the company as it scales to the next stage
- Work closely with CTO, ensuring systems are understood, adopted, and followed across the organisation
- Help introduce the right level of process and structure, without slowing the business down
Important context
You will not be building everything from scratch, and you will not be expected to “be the reason” the company scales. Instead, you will be part of the transition, helping the business move from its current level to the next stage by improving how we operate, communicate, and execute. You will be working with experienced and capable people who know their areas well. The role is to align, support, and elevate how they work together, not to replace them.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in ecommerce / DTC businesses (must‑have)
- Have been part of a scaling or transformation journey (e.g. significant growth phase)
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and strong personalities
- Strong people skills, able to build trust, navigate conflict, and create alignment
- Mature and grounded, able to bring calm and clarity in complex situations
- Fast‑moving and pragmatic, able to act, not just plan
- Understands technology and is comfortable working alongside technical leadership
- We are actively pushing AI and automation across the business, so you need to be comfortable working in that direction and not resistant to change
Profile
- Senior, but not corporate
- Hands‑on when needed, but primarily focused on execution through others
- Able to challenge constructively without creating friction
- Focused on making things work, not just designing how they should work
Location & Setup
We are a distributed company and are open to candidates based anywhere in Europe. Our team is spread across multiple locations, including London, Belgrade, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Oxfordshire, Istanbul, and Guangzhou, with a significant part of the team based in our Belgrade hub. Location is less important than experience and fit. The role requires regular collaboration across teams in different countries, as well as occasional travel when needed. This is a long‑term role for someone who wants to be part of building and scaling a company over several years.
In our culture in ennovationHUB we value:
- Accountability over excuses
- Execution over talk
- Clarity over politics
- Learning through doing
We welcome people from diverse backgrounds, what matters most is doing the work well and owning outcomes.
