Reporting into the Head of Groups & Events you will be responsible for selling and planning group and event business, fostering positive client relationships and ensuring budgets are exceeded for St Martins Lane London and Sanderson London.

Job Description

In this role as Groups & Events Executive , you will:

  • Ensure all enquiries are dealt with quickly and with the highest level of customer service.
  • Input all group & event enquiries into Delphi, adhering to data entry standards.
  • Manage pre & post group and event billing and credit control in a timely manner.
  • Attend pre & post event client meetings, event & group pipeline meetings, credit meetings and function sheet meetings as appropriate.
  • Conduct imaginative and engaging client site inspections.
  • Successfully convert and contract enquiries, in order to exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly group & event budget.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience in an upscale or lifestyle venue sales and planning environment.
  • Hot-desking across multiple properties is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient in using Microsoft Office, Opera, Delphi, Cvent and other RFP platforms.
  • Flexibility in working hours is required.
  • Can work independently and collaboratively with others to foster teamwork.
