What you’ll do…

  • Own the accounting and financial control processes for Ennismore Ecosystem divisions (Dis-Loyalty, AIME Studios, Corporate Sponsorships, AIC.com, Brand.com)
  • Post Ecosystem revenue and costs, plus accrued and deferred revenue and adjustments including capex vs opex review
  • Work with your Ecosystem operating teams and the UK Accounts Receivable team to review any overdue balances and cash collections
  • Prepare certain month end journals relating to the wider UK corporate business (e.g. payroll, month end accruals, external and intercompany loan entries)
  • Manage preparation and review of various UK balance sheets including bi-monthly/monthly reconciliations
  • Support intercompany reconciliations and recharges and support the FP&A team with month end and ad hoc queries and requests
  • Support the wider month end close process for Ennismore’s UK entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for both local and wider group stakeholders
  • Provide assurance to support the accuracy and completeness of our results in accordance with global directives (IFRS) and local reporting (FRS 102)
  • Deliver accurate and timely month end reporting (P&L + Balance Sheet) into OneStream, our consolidation tool
  • Provide support for various group and local audits, as well as the testing, implementation and documentation of controls
  • Document and deliver improvements on financial controls, processes and procedural policies in collaboration with the operational teams and external parties

What we’re looking for…

  • Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience of working on the month end close for UK entities
  • Extensive experience of statutory audit and controls (testing, implementation, documentation)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience with Sun Systems 6.4 and OneStream is a bonus but not a must have
  • Someone who can hit the ground running, with the ability to work independently to achieve our goals
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and jump in and help where needed
  • You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done
  • You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way

What’s in it for you…

  • 25 days holiday (and bank holidays), pension and life insurance
  • A health cash plan to claim money back and get access to lots of ways to support your physical & mental wellbeing
  • Treat yourself with lots of retail & hospitality perks through our partners
  • Excellent discounts across the entire Ennismore family for you and your nearest and dearest (even after you leave!)
  • Extra time off to volunteer with one of our partner charities
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced Family Leave
  • Join an innovative, fast-growing, international group that’s committed to not just building new hotels but building a global brand.
  • The chance to challenge the norm and work in an environment that is both creative and rewarding.
  • Become part of a team that’s very passionate about creating great hospitality experiences and building a portfolio of brands.
