We’re on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team! Reporting to the Director of Finance, you’ll be a key player, helping the team with the day-to-day tasks and ensuring our financial operations are perfectly in tune.
What you’ll do…
- Conduct daily revenue audits, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in line with company standards.
- Reconcile reported revenue against actual income and investigate discrepancies or irregularities.
- Implement corrective actions and strengthen controls to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor costs, analyse variances, and drive cost control initiatives to optimise expenses.
- Maintain supplier data, pricing, and product specifications in Adaco; onboard new suppliers.
- Train hotel teams on Adaco usage and review system reports for purchasing and inventory accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate across departments to gather and validate financial data.
- Review and update SOPs to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Manage Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, statement checks, and supplier queries.
- Oversee the accounts inbox and petty cash processes.
- Support month-end/year-end close and audit preparation.
What we’re looking for…
- Proven Experience as a Finance Assistant, preferably in hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS, Sun system and Adaco is desirable.
- Good knowledge and experience of MS Office applications including Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy and precision in financial records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, this role requires collaboration with colleagues from various departments.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
