We are looking for a Commis Chef to be part of our opening team for The Hoxton, Shoreditch in our Il Bambini Club.
Il Bambini Club – a festive, generous trattoria born in Paris – is opening its doors in London. With live music, bold interiors, and a love for Italian flavours, Bambini is a celebration of food, colour, and joy. We’re hiring Commis Chefs ready to learn, grow, and bring positive energy to a passionate kitchen team crafting everything from pizza to playful dolci.
Job Description
What you\’ll do…
- Be a key team player and ensuring all areas of the kitchen are prepped and ready for service.
- Make sure things are running without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth as chipotle butter, and our food hygiene standards are sky-high

- Previous experience working as part of a kitchen team in a similar sized restaurant
- Passion for fresh ingredients and strong flavours

- You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done
- You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
