Job Description

  • What you’ll do…
  • Lead the breakfast service, crafting high-quality morning dishes that range from classic favourites to modern, health-conscious options.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to plan and evolve the breakfast menu, keeping it fresh, seasonal, and full of character.
  • Manage ingredients with care—ordering, storing, and rotating stock to keep everything fresh and reduce waste.
  • Cook and plate with precision and flair, balancing speed with attention to detail.
  • Maintain top-notch food hygiene and safety standards across the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Occasionally interact with guests, especially in open-kitchen settings, catering to special requests and dietary needs.
  • Keep a close eye on quality—tasting, tweaking, and presenting dishes that wow every time.
  • Stay cool under pressure, managing time and solving problems as they arise.
  • Create a positive, supportive environment where your team can be themselves and do their best work.

Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety standards , with relevant certifications.

Organised and efficient , able to manage prep, service, and stock with calm precision—even during the morning rush.

Team player with great communication skills—you work well with others and help create a positive kitchen culture.
